We're looking for an Application Specialist with paint sealer deck or battery dispensing experience to join our team. We are looking for you who can work with the Innovation Center team to provide creative solutions. As an Application Specialist, you will have an opportunity to test the boundaries of dispense solutions on customer-supplied materials across a broad range of paint sealer deck and battery applications, among others, within the automotive industry. If you are ready for the next step in your career, we're looking for you an experienced Application Specialist to join our team. Your Role: Your mission as an Application Specialist you will assess the feasibility of customers' applications for Industrial Dispensing and support the results through phases of the product lifecycle. As an Application Specialist, you will report to the ADH Application Team Lead. What you will be able to do: Conduct testing, process development, and validation on customer-supplied parts and materials. Plan, execution, and documentation of lab trials. Process and system optimization in collaboration with sales, project management, and external customers. Preparation and implementation of demonstrations for our customers (robotic or manual) Internal knowledge exchange within our Global Innovation Centers network. Software validation and optimization. Produce and process development based on test results. Train both internal Atlas Copco IAS colleagues and external customers. Write technical papers such as test reports and technical overviews. Support Sales through technical discussions with customers. You can provide suggestions to our organization for new methods and products and improve current standards. You will work together with other teams to ensure smooth business operations. You may periodically travel to support the above activities; local but international travel may occasionally occur. Experience in process development and testing Prior experience with automotive, automated dispensingsystems Robot programming skills preferred Agile mindset, ability to identify problems, find a solution, and execute Ability to troubleshoot capital equipment from a mechanical and electrical perspective Experience with automotive OEM manufacturing Knowledge of PC Windows-based software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrate ownership of projects Great communication skills Detail-oriented with a high standard of work.
