Job Overview

This position will support operational and research-based data engineering and analytics for the Heart Institute. This includes work in systems analysis, design and applications programming for single and multiple information systems, software applications, architectures, data warehouses, databases, and data extraction and reporting. Duties include designing, planning, testing, implementing, maintenance, problem solving, documenting, and developing software code, standards, principles and practices. Potential Specialty Areas: ETL, SQL, SSIS, Epic EMR / Cogito, Power BI, Python As a leader in pediatric heart care, our Hearth Institute is the largest in the region, treating more than 20,000 patients each year. Additional Information

Department: Analytics Resource Center (ARC) Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. Work hours may vary depending on the need of the department. Very limited on-call and off hours may be required.

*This is a hybrid position.

Qualifications

EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree is required. EXPERIENCE - Minimum of three (3) years of related experience is required. EQUIVALENCY - Combination of post-high school education, job related certification and/or related experience equivalent to seven (7) years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements. Epic Cogito Certifications preferred. Healthcare experience is preferred.
