Facilities Maintenance Support Specialist (Aurora, OH)

6+ Month Contract | Multiple Openings | 1st Shift (M-F, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Join a global manufacturing leader as a Facilities Maintenance Support Specialist at our Aurora, OH location. We are looking for skilled individuals with a strong background in mechanical assembly, maintenance, and facilities support to join our team. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to the smooth operation of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Setup : Build and assemble carts, workstations, and equipment using modular piping systems (Creform).

  • Facility Maintenance : Perform routine tasks such as setting up meeting rooms, changing light bulbs, and conducting system inspections.

  • System Monitoring : Carry out daily monitoring, repairs, and preventive maintenance on critical facility systems and equipment.

  • Additional Maintenance : Tackle various facility tasks including rough carpentry and other hands-on projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience :

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, or 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

  • Basic understanding of facility systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing .

  • At least one year of related experience in a facilities maintenance role.

  • Appropriate certification or licensing, if required by local regulations.

Preferred:

  • Associates or 2-year degree in Facilities Management or a related field.

  • Experience in Occupational Safety and Health , Environmental Science , or related technical disciplines.

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and interact with various levels of management and personnel.
