UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Accountant I - Hybrid in Austin, Texas
Prepare invoices, reconcile accounts, and collect payments from third party agencies and Military. This includes collecting on outstanding funds, removing student coverage, and communication with campus partners.Assist with the 1098-T process, class auditor permits, exemption processing and audits, resident tuition entitlement audit, staff education benefit during the semester, and new hire training. Also serve as tuition testing lead.Provide customer service in a professional manner to students, parents, and campus department personnel in person, over the phone and via email regarding tuition billing processes. Requires analysis and compilation of financial data from a variety of sources.Assist with the bi-weekly reconciliation of tuition and fees back-end accounting processes. Also serve as backup for SAR Accounting functions. Other related functions as assigned.
