Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Austin, Texas
Description Talented Accounting Managers will be interested in Robert Half's opportunity to work with a thriving company. This is a successful organization that will recognize your efforts. To succeed in this role, you will need to lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. This role's duties will require the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. This Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for permanent employment that is located in the Austin, Texas area.
How you will make an impact
Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration Requirements
Strong familiarity with CPA Eligible
Solid understanding of NetSuite
Experience with financial reporting
Public Accounting experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
3+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
CPA or MBA preferred
Solid technology and analytical abilities
