They are industry experts on emerging technology. They manage the development, implementation and coordination of cutting-edge internet marketing strategies while driving merchandising product placement, pathing, promotion and content to optimize conversion and consideration. The team also leads on campaign management, product launch, online merchandising and end-to-end conversion.
Develop and own the Consumer Segment E2E vision & strategy for Dell.com, aligned to brand tenets and business goals, including:
Develop product requirements that balance end-customer needs, business input, and market dynamics – requires gathering input from a number of stakeholders (Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, PG, DFS, Services, IT, CCO, etc.)
Translate product requirements into a concrete Vision for a leading E2E experience on Dell.com
Constantly iterate and improve the Vision with key stakeholders
Translate the Vision into detailed and actionable product roadmap
Employ business case logic to prioritize product features based on business and customer value
Test vision with customers, working with Customer Insights Analyst and ringfenced design resources, through qualitative user testing
Socialize roadmap internally: iterate and align the vision with key stakeholders
Recommend POR roadmap and required funding to the SVP of Global CSB eCommerce
Drive E2E Consumer Segment roadmap execution and backlog prioritization/iterative reprioritization
Deliver clear and precise product vision to IT teams, ensuring IT teams have direction to begin execution. Continually strive for the near-perfect SOW.
Meet with IT execution teams through test, dev, and launch to ensure E2E vision is met and roadblocks are resolved
Resolve cross-functional roadblocks; escalating to the SVP of Global CSB eCommerce as necessary
Monitor delivery progress against Consumer Segment roadmap
Continually reprioritize Consumer Segment E2E backlog as required
Drive features to launch; gather customer feedback, continually iterate in a test-and-learn model
Bachelors degree in a relevant field required. MBA preferred.
Extensive experience managing a product (eCommerce products preferred)
Extensive experience working in a highly cross-functional role with a proven track record of "getting the job done."
Ability to coordinate designers, engineers and business people
Experience working in Agile and managing an IT roadmap preferred
