Removery was formed in 2019 through a merge of the four leading tattoo removal brands in North America. The underlying businesses have operated a combination of 100+ years and have performed more than 1,000,000 treatments, enabling us to offer clients an unrivaled treatment experience. Based in Austin, TX, Removery is the only scaled, pure play provider of laser tattoo removal services in the world. We use best in class technology utilizing the innovative PicoWay® laser equipment to remove tattoos safely and effectively. The foundation is in place to build a network of 400+ locations across the US, Canada, and Australia over the next 5 years.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Position Overview: As a Human Resources Business Partner (HR BP) at Removery, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives across multiple locations. Reporting to the VP of People, you will serve as a strategic advisor to managers and team members, providing guidance on HR-related matters and fostering a positive work environment conducive to organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, conducting investigations, conflict resolution, and providing coaching to managers.

  • Manage and resolve simple through to complex employee relations issues.

  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Partner with internal and external counsel as required.

  • Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback sessions, and development planning.

  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions.

  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's mission, vision, and growth objectives.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.

  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies and procedures across all locations.

  • Maintain up to date employee handbooks.

  • Provides policy advice and guidance.

  • Maintain team member code of conduct policies.

  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR data, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making processes.

  • Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including recognition programs, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Provides analysis and reporting on turnover.

  • Conduct exit interviews and consolidate feedback identifying trends and providing insights to leadership teams.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with broader people team to develop solutions, policies and procedures.

  • Contributes to programs that improve work relationships, build morale and improve productivity and retention.

  • Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and other change management processes.

  • HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative tasks, including employee record management, payroll support, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

  • Experience working in a multi-location healthcare or related industry is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related software applications.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Superior service responsiveness and rapid follow-up ability.

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, flexible and high growth environment.

  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and HRIS systems In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
