Effectively communicate the many policies and procedures to the CSUs and suppliers, by both written and verbal communicationGroup Email Inbox: Review incoming order documents, cross check with order queue and solicit missing items as needed. Organize and maintain email files. Process Invitation To Bids (ITBs) and also Quote Requests for awards against existing contractsOrder Processing: Process routine purchases (i.e. informal bids, awards on existing contracts, exclusive acquisition justifications) within their delegation. Process complex purchases (i.e. informal bids, awards on existing contracts, exclusive acquisition justifications). Additionally, process orders utilizing federal funds, change orders, foreign purchases, and purchases valued up to 1 million dollars.Spend analysis by commodity, contract administration and support for UT Market.Tracking savings on purchases and reporting both at the local and campus wide level. Creating spreadsheets that will be used to pull savings data from and use that information to help other CSU's report their own savings.Other Duties/Skills: Projects and goals assigned by management, staff meetings, vendor meetings, attend training, assist with buyer training, and respond to general questions. Assist with other team members' duties when needed due to increased workload, staff vacations, and/or position vacancies. Uses initiative and resourcefulness beyond typical duties.
