Planate Management Group LLC Property Manager/Deputy Program Manager (to be based in Iraq) in Austin, Texas
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Property Manager/Deputy Program Manager will serve the task order in support of the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This position will support the Program Manager and shall have the authority to commit the Contractor’s labor force and the use of resources to meet the overall requirements of the task order. The individual will also oversee the Contractor’s Property Management.
This position will be based in Iraq and is contingent on the award of the contract
Key responsibilities:
Oversees the Contractor’s Property Management.
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Ensure compliance with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking property inventory based on site location, type and usage.
Maintain and update property records.
Manage property staff.
Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
Identify problem areas to the PM.
Plan and manage projects.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
Seven (7) years of fleet vehicle maintenance management and/or logistics support services management experience with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in providing such services to large operations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with property management, contracts or related field.
Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM). Preferably with relevant overseas vehicle maintenance experience.
Valid driver’s license from home of record.
Must have secret clearance (Top Secret Desired)
Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills
Superior organizational and time management skills
Ability to develop implement and maintain paper and computer-based tools for scheduling, tracking and reporting data
Strong work ethic and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment; flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities
Resourceful, self-reliant, self-motivated
Must lawfully reside in the United States and is eligible for employment (Planate does not sponsor visas or work permits)
