Key Qualifications

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to interpret technical lingo to end users

  • Experienced in data driven approach, implemented techniques for data reconciliation in systems with high frequency loads in business critical environments

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Business Objects, Tableau or other analytic tools with a drive to dive deep

  • Strong understanding of Business Intelligence concepts

  • Experience in working in teams using Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban

  • Understanding of automated test suites and frameworks such as Selenium, Python and JavaScripts

  • Experienced in Test Strategy, Planning and Execution including Functional and Non Functional testing

  • Understanding of Dimensional Modeling and Data warehousing

  • Understanding of the Finance Industry, Supply and Demand Management, Units forecasting

  • Experience in project collaboration products such as Jira, Confluence, Quip, Miro

  • Experience in Data Migration projects

  • Self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and creative problem solving skills

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment

Description

Your responsibilities will include: - Deep dive into various financial & hierarchical data points in different sets of hierarchies, understanding the nuances of how complex data behaves - Define and implement the test strategy based on Functional Requirements driven by the Product Manager - Work closely with the Product Managers to define test plans that ensure data quality both on new development and regular data loads - Drive test coverage across different source systems, transactional applications and reporting environments, taking into account new features and regression - Execute test scenarios in a repeatable manner, allowing for easy data quality monitoring - Coordinate release management and hold the final go / no-go in terms of data quality and functional behavior - Act as first gate for LiveOps issues, confirm the behavior and makes the call on priority with Product Manager - Report on found issues in a clear, well defined way - Collaborate with Engineers to understand implementation logic - Manage tickets on found data issues and work with the Product Manager to plan out bug fixes - Communicate status updates to end users and stakeholders concisely in a timely manner

Education & Experience

BS or MS in Engineering/Computer Science

  • 5+ years of relevant practical experience
