Develop effective working relationships and positively influence and motivate staff. Work as a team member in a fast-paced environment. Manage professional, support, and student staff.Manage day-to-day operations. Supervise all phases of food preparation and service. Ensure that departmental standards for 5 Star customer service and food quality are achieved. Maintain current knowledge of all areas of responsibilities within the department and the University environment.Oversee training for new employees. Anticipate and identify issues and areas of improvement. Produce viable and logical solutions. Determine needs and assist in controlling labor costs.Serve as backup for Dining Managers and Supervisors when requested. Drive UT vehicle. Other duties as assigned.
