Omni Hotels & Resorts is seekingFull Time |Tennis Professionalfor the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club! Ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2023
Responsibilities
Assist with organizing and promoting Resort and Club functions, including lessons, tournaments, and social events.
Supervision of tennis operation and staff when assigned by the Director of Sports Operations.
Actively promote Barton Creek tennis operations to drive revenue.
Assist with providing lessons for all levels of tennis instruction (beginner to advanced) to all age levels (juniors to adults), including private lessons, group lessons and clinics as assigned.
Become proficient in using ResortSuite for sales and charges.
Attend staff meetings and member functions as required.
Assist with maintaining professional tennis pro shop environment..This includes answering telephones cheerfully, greeting members/guests in a positive, pleasant demeanor, and assist with maintaining organized court reservation system.
Promote the club to prospective new members.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience teaching tennis in a comparable environment.
Private club experience is a plus.
USPTA Certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to withstand possible 8-10 hour work day.
Must be able to withstand exposure to weather conditions.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
