Transporting crushed rock, sand and gravel to and from specified locations. Verify the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions. Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck. Most importantly drivers are responsible to follow safety procedures for vehicle operation, review documents or materials for compliance with policies and regulations. Drivers must obey and follow applicable traffic laws. Driving Skills: Checking truck for safety issues, turning, moving forward, stopping and backing up.
