PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect, reject, or accept products according to visual standards, weight, tally, and other Q.C. requirements.

  • Documentation and recordkeeping.

  • Control the removal of monograms from non-conforming products.

  • Utilize safe work habits.

  • Wear appropriate PPE.

  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 2 years of relatable quality control experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Must be able to work rotating schedules, overtime, and Sunday (every other week).

  • Must be mathematically inclined.

  • ​Forklift license​ preferred.

  • Basic level computer skills (Microsoft Excel & ERP systems) an asset.

  • Training in ISO 9001 is considered an asset.

  • Ability to accurately use scales, outside diameter tape, ruler, and thread height gauges.

  • Adaptable with the willingness to be a team player and the ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.

  • Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.

  • Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.

  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.

  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.

PAY RANGE:

  • $21.53 - $23.95 per hour
