TMNA Services LLC Architect in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania
Review business requirement documentation in order to provide technical analysis and estimates for technical solutions. Design, configure, and implement Java applications for the insurance domain. Work with business relationship teams to provide estimations and timelines for technical enhancements and new projects to meet business requirements. Contribute to the technical implementation of Proof of Concepts. Plan technical upgrades of Java applications. Envision, strategize, and implement modernization efforts. Contribute towards DevOps, automation solutions, and continuous improvements to operational delivery. Ensure accuracy of technical implementations through unit testing and be responsible for overall code quality. Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Architect, BA, QA teams, and subject matter experts of the various upstream and downstream systems in the design and development of technical solutions. Research, evaluate, and provide input to potential solutions taking into consideration project constraints, organizational architecture standards, customer business processes, and emerging technologies. Participate in on-going operational support and maintenance. Support QA and UAT execution and deployments in various environments. Align to the maintenance and enforcement of SDLC processes, departmental standards, style requirements, and all other procedures necessary for data and system integrity. Work with enterprise application development using Java/J2EE technologies; web application development using Java, AJAX, CSS, and JavaScript; developing web services using SOAP/REST and Azure infrastructure; Agile methodologies, including SCRUM; SQL, including SQL Server; configuring and developing on JBoss and Springboot; source code repositories; planning branching strategies; code analysis, unit testing, and CI/CD automated build pipelines; portal design concepts, including integration, security, collaboration, and SSO; Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles; Eclipse tools; and SonarQube.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with enterprise application development using Java/J2EE technologies; web application development using Java, AJAX, CSS, and JavaScript; developing web services using SOAP/REST and Azure infrastructure; Agile methodologies, including SCRUM; SQL, including SQL Server; configuring and developing on JBoss and Springboot; source code repositories; planning branching strategies; code analysis, unit testing, and CI/CD automated build pipelines; portal design concepts, including integration, security, collaboration, and SSO; Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles; Eclipse tools; and SonarQube.
