Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Review of Electronic component selection, alternate component and qualifications.
Review of Specification comparisons sheet and Engineering report.
Electronics circuit design and review (Analog, Digital & Mixed signal circuits)
Support core team by performing in-depth electrical engineering analysis and calculations.
Review of Schematics design, PCB Layout (Cadence / Altium Designer).
Follow medical devices standards.
Review of Engineering documentations that allows manufacturing of PCBAs, including schematics, BOM, assembly drawings, FAB specifications.
Discussion with supplier / vendor and follow-up.
Review of test protocol / specification document.
Board bring-up & board functionality testing and electrical design verification.
Troubleshooting and problem solving – Electrical aspect.
Review of test reports.
Review of ER documentation and release.
Follow QMS, ensure good documentation practices.
Works with external test houses (such as EMI, EMC tests for electrical boards and full device) to define the test scope, author the test plans, test procedures, execute & consolidate the reports.
Experience in IEC basic safety, EMI-EMC standards testing.
Develops and maintains an effective and corroborative working relationship with the team.
Adheres to Baxter Quality Management system and support audits and external inspections as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience in Electrical and Electronics circuit testing, Test fixtures design & Automation concepts.
Experience:
Knowledge and design experience in electronic components (passives, discrete semiconductors, and integrated circuits).
Hands on experience in using electronic laboratory test equipment like DMM, Oscilloscope, Power supply etc.
Relevant technical testing/reliability experience in electro-mechanical and electrical testing.
Understanding of hardware and software product design methodologies and test practices.
Hands on experience in electronic boards functional and performance testing.
Strong logical and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions clearly.
Experience in team handling.
