About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dimensional Variation Analyst/Tolerance Stack Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles, specifically related to tolerance analysis and dimensional variation management. The primary responsibility of this role will be to conduct tolerance stack analyses to ensure that product designs meet specified dimensional requirements and to identify potential issues that may affect product performance or manufacturability

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting the Design development of system & components under geometrical tolerance conditions.

• Leading the tolerance stack up analysis modelling and reporting on complete Transmission System/EV powertrain

• Providing geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) support on Transmission System/EV powertrain.

• Supporting appearance and functional dimensional issue resolution.

• Supporting design optimization under geometrical tolerance conditions.

• Supporting related dimensional control elements (locators, checking fixtures, etc.) as required.

• Resolve dimensional specifications not meeting established targets to meet 100% compliance.

• Design for Manufacturing, Best Practices, Packaging, Continuous Improvement & Aesthetic Design knowledge.

• Track & report on all program dimensional specification requirements and progress towards 100% compliance

Who we are looking for

DVA (Dimensional Variation Analysis)/ Tolerance stack Analysis

Your preferred qualifications

• Educated to a degree level or higher in an engineering discipline (or similar) with experience in Automotive Technology.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Capable of performing tolerance stack analysis on complex assemblies.

• Experience in developing and analysing GD&T.

• Experience in developing and analysing locating strategies for Transmission System.

• Experience performing tolerance analysis simulations using 3DCS (or VisVSA)

• Production experience in manufacturing or assembly of Transmission System.

• Experience in dimensional control related activities.

• Should have knowledge of Problem-Solving Root Cause Analysis Tools.

• Should have creative problem-solving ability with strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and be able to perform individually.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
