Responsibilities
Development of automation framework, tests, tools, functional and E2E flows.
Analyze the code to identify potential quality issues and find the best automated method to solve it.
Migrate manual procedures to automated processes, increase product automation and testing coverage.
Responsible for assessing, proposing and implementing changes that improve our test strategy, automation framework and team efficiency.
Owning the full highest quality of your and your team's deliveries.
Requirements:
Mandatory requirements:
Expertise in developing & designing automation frameworks & enhancements.
Experience using cloud services for automation and related functions.
Strong programming skills in Java, python and C#.
API and automation testing with tools like JMeter, Postman, Rest Assured etc.
Excellent technical skills, including design, coding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Experience in BDD, TDD & related test-driven methodologies.
Well versed with DevOps concepts, setting up build and release pipelines.
Experience in successfully implementing CI/CD concepts and automation integration in a complex environment, preferably in Jenkins or Harness.
UI automation using Selenium with Java experience.
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes, Cucumber framework, TestNG and Bash/Shell.
Experience in manual testing and excellent critical quality thinking.
Experience in writing QA documentation, such as STD, STP, STR.
Well versed with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience in working in an Agile environment.
Strong sense of self-motivation, entrepreneur pro-active approach, attention to details, exploratory mindset, and quality driven.
Thorough knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process & CI/CD
Attention to detail and strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
B.E / B. Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related engineering field.
At least 3 years of automation development experience.
Preferable Requirements:
Experience with capturing network traffic tools like Wireshark and Fiddler.
Experience with web applications and technologies, and knowledge of how to analyze HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Advantage.
Working experience with complex large-scale systems and projects.
