Our Electronic Competence Center Department for 2-Wheeler & Powersports (2WP’s) product is looking for Hardware Test Engineer

In the field of 2WP’s projects (Motorcycles, ATV, Scooters, lawn mowers …), the Electronic Competence Center [ECC] is responsible to design, maintain, and launch electronic components inside our product portfolio which will comply to market requirement and specify/design/validate industrial electronic solutions accordingly. Advance, base development and customer WW application projects utilize the resources of this engineering group to develop platform and design customer products.

As Hardware Test Engineer for our Electronic Competence Center [ECC] 2WP’s, your role consists of:

Assess product requirements and creates Hardware test system development plans appropriate for the component.

Develops, modifies hardware test design documentation, specifications and drawings based on the project requirements.

Analyze circuits using calculation and simulation methods to assess performance limits, effects of environmental and load test and timing interfaces to ensure consistent performance in safety critical applications.

Develop EMC /EMC and Electrical test specification for EFI and Electrification Electronics products

Support prototype builds and validation testing (Environmental and EMC).

Develops Test Jigs Load box preparations configurations, wringing harness based on project requirement for EMC test.

Have deep understanding of all standards. Performed test related to CISPR ,ISO,IEC, SAE,AIS standards. Execution of test according to international automotive standard CISPR 25,ISO 11452-2,ISO 11452-4, ISO 11452-3,ISO 11452-5, ISO 11452-8,ISO 11452-9, ISO-10605, ISO-16750, AIS 004, ISO 21780

Interact with New Product Launch / Industrial Engineering team members to ensure Design for Manufacturability concerns are addressed with the design outputs.

Support Change Management ,Analyze & estimate impact of new & changed requirements, focused on all aspects of the hardware validation activities.

Use problem solving and decision-making techniques to manage risks and priorities.

Communicate electrical performance to internal and external customer through design review and failure analysis.

Resolves competing constraints between interrelated functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, customer, etc.) required to deliver the product to market.

Develops and maintains an effective and collaborative working relationship with internal and external development partners.

[Qualifications]

Bachelor’s Degree Electronics Engineering.

3 to 5 Years of experience in power Electronics product Hardware Test design development to automotive standards.

Team spirit and ability to work with intercultural worldwide teams & structured, analytic, strategic, and self-dependent way of working.

Strong/solid knowledge on Manufacturing process of Electronic assemblies for automotive environments and safety regulations.

Design test specifical and perform hardware testing for electrified drivetrain systems and Power Electronics and BMS “Battery Management System” Product testing.

by using LabVIEW / Teststand /Veristand-NI “National Instruments“ test solutions.

Very good in Automotive communication buses and high-speed data transmission: CAN, SPI and I2C.

Proficient in standard office software tools: Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Project.

Proficient with basic EE tools: Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzer, Data Logger, Thermal Chamber, Multimeter, Functional generator, Thermal Imager etc.
