Job Description:

Supports the planning and implementation of enterprise server, storage, and application infrastructure projects including installations, modifications, and upgrades. Researches best practices and collaborates with internal resources to propose and implement optimal designs for different physical, virtual, and cloud platforms. Advises on the development and management of internal systems to achieve proper security, network availability, optimal storage capability, and other functionality. Hires and supervises sub-contractors as needed to complete relocations. Performs automation of workloads to improve performance, reduce costs, reduce maintenance of servers and storage devices, and to help improve self-service capabilities. Develops scripts across various physical, virtual, and cloud platforms to, for example, improve the consistency of infrastructure systems, monitor for and respond to routine issues, maintain healthy backups of data, and other automation functions. Monitors server, storage, and application performance, tracks metrics, and collects and analyzes logs. Remediates problem situations as needed. May escalate some cloud-based problems. Maintains detailed documentation of physical, virtual, and cloud-based enterprise technology, server, storage, application, and security best practices. Maintains detailed inventory of available resources for relocation projects and prepares orders for additional items as required. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree. 3 years of relevant experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining CMDB and monitoring CMDB Health

2. Hands-on experience implementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery and other discovery tools, such as SCCM or Lansweeper

3. Experience configuring and managing Service Mapping and Service Graph Connectors

4. ServiceNow Event Management experience (LogicMonitor integration a plus)

5. Experience with ServiceNow Certificate Management

6. MID Server installation and configuration with Agent Client Collector experience

7. Must be able to effectively collaborate with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and ITSM partners.

8. ServiceNow CSA certification a plus

9. ITIL certification a plus
