Responsibilities

  • Establish the vision, tools, roadmap and success metrics to support localization, accessibility and writing for web applications.

  • Generate localization, accessibility and writing guidelines across components and patterns

  • Write and publish inclusive design and language principles for the design system

  • Teach accessibility standards testing on the figma component libraries of the design kit and code library

  • Contribute content to the design system website for localization, accessibility and writing standards for web applications

  • Define common contextual examples for recommendation and guard against mis-use

  • Assist in managing design system requests, questions and issue resolution in coordination with developers and product designers

  • Engage in communication channels between development and design teams

  • Collaborate closely with UX practitioners allocated to product design experiences for ingesting new patterns into the system

  • Create and curate contributions for site content and oversee consistency in website content

  • Contribute to project specific, product design work

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with interaction design and visual design of digital products

  • Proven expertise in language, writing and accessibility standards for the web

  • High proficiency in Figma design tool; this is essential for our design system

  • Experience designing complex SaaS or enterprise software showcased in a portfolio

  • Proficiency with executing the full UX design life cycle - from preliminary research through journey-mapping, persona development, prototyping, usability testing, and interaction design with all relevant planning and deliverables

  • Fluent English (in speaking and writing)

  • Experience with project leadership planning and vision development
