Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for following

Cost management (Logistics & Warehousing)

· Commodity, Cost & Spend Management

· Annual budgeting & planning, Annual Saving Target

· Target setting & evaluation

Supplier management

· Supplier evaluation, selection & LTA

· Supplier Analysis

· Supplier Development

· Supplier Performance Analysis

· Supplier SWOT Analysis

· Supplier Audits & Strategic Rationalization

Shipment Management

· Operations management

· Documentation validation and coordination with stakeholders

· Shipment KPI monitoring and dashboard management

· LSP SLA management

People/Team Management

· Team Management – Development, engagement and team building

· Performance Management

· Spearheading deliverables & actions for realization of targets involving Cross functional teams

Sourcing strategy

· Implementing 3PL transitions across India for Warehousing and Domestics Logistics

· Sourcing strategy decision making-Grow, Maintain, Exit strategy for lean supply chain

· Synchronize & align departmental strategies & Goal from the Organizations objective.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Should have sound knowledge in strategic sourcing & operational activities. Leadership quality & Negotiation skill. Ability to handle team of managers and should have good supplier orientation. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical engineering from a reputed institution. Post-graduation will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 8-12 years of experience in managing Logistics of a large scale engineering industry.

ANY OTHER KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES IF REQUIRES

Good leadership quality, Interpersonal skills & Negotiation skill. Must have strong purchasing Technical background. Must process good communication skills. Should possess project management skills, supplier development skills, and knowledge of Logistics and Warehousing processes and government taxes & duties including imports and exports.
