Manager-Outsourcing

As Manager-Outsourcing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing P&WC’s relationship with its partner ecosystem, ensure contractual compliance, drive optimization and strategic projects. Also driving a balance between the work executed at the captive center and at supplier locations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring relationship with outsourcing suppliers by engaging with key supplier stakeholders

• Manage annual spend of over 40M USD and ensuring contractual commitments are met year on year

• Annual budget finalization ensuring increases are offset by leveraging productivity savings

• Tracking PO penetration and ensuring budget compliance

• Liaison with business focal to evaluate outsourcing needs – drive a balance between captive center & outsourcing partners

• Monitoring and controlling mid-year increase in budget

• Evaluating new business proposals from suppliers (outcome-based engagement, Risk / Reward sharing opportunities)

• Driving digital transformation projects with suppliers resulting in significant reduction in operational spend and enhancing business stakeholder experience

• Working with suppliers to create a pipeline of projects to meet the committed productivity targets

• Review and reconcile implemented projects to ensure productivity targets are met

• Driving strategic projects to optimize outsourcing cost

• Drive performance review with suppliers (budget, productivity, attrition, areas of improvement, etc.)

• Pre-empting business risks and invoking BCP - Ensure maximum coverage by suppliers to P&WC business during unforeseen circumstances in the region

• Data management to support GWS performance reporting at regular intervals

• Briefing papers / notes to support executive meetings

• Support adhoc requests for information from business teams with respect to supplier engagement

Required Experience:

• Experience of driving large IT projects

• Good understanding of technology (RPA, AI / ML, etc.)

• Networking ability - Ability to interact with senior executives both internally & at supplier

• Good negotiation skills

• Program management & multi-tasking ability

• Ability to create and execute financial business plans

• Ability to drive results without having direct authority

• Ability to develop plans that anticipates short- and long-term business demands

Qualification / General Experience:

• Bachelors / Masters degree / MBA in finance / operations

• 10 to 15 years of experience in managing large engagements

• Good understanding of outsourcing landscape in India

• Aerospace industry experience

• Good analytical skills

• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience user of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience of working under dynamic and uncertain business conditions
