Philips Principal Engineer - Enterprise Architecture in Bangalore, India
You are responsible for
Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, providing technical guidance and implementation.
Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our products and services.
Drive innovation by researching, prototyping, and implementing cutting-edge AI algorithms and techniques, including Generative AI models.
Work with AWS, Microsoft and Databricks and establish best practices for each domain.
Establish guidelines where and when open source models can be used for enterprise purposes.
Execute projects hands on to act as pilots for AI projects and take them to production.
Implement observability for AI systems.
Prepare templates, libraries and scripts which reduce the amount of boiler plate that needs to be done.
Identify use-cases and deploy cost-saving measures on the use of AI. For e.g.
Re-using a single deployment of a model for multiple use-cases.
Providing Business API which runs off on AI models (there by abstracting use of AI to the use of AI)
Identify and implement methods whichidentify costs of a given solution.
Architect scalable and reliable AI systems, considering performance, security, and maintainability requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert on AI-related topics, providing guidance and thought leadership to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Continuously optimize AI models and algorithms to enhance performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
What are we looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 18 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in AI.
Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
Deep understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and frameworks, with expertise in applying AI techniques to solve real-world problems.
Understating of LLM’s, Statistical Models, Machine Learning Models and Deep Learning models.
Familiarity with usage patterns and best practices for integrating AI into enterprise applications.
Experience architecting and developing AI solutions at scale, including knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed computing.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with proficiency in AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
