In a cloud first mobile first world organizations are transforming their network security model. This new model is known as Secure Access Service Edge. Microsoft SSE (Entra Internet Access and Entra Private Access) released to public preview on July ’23 with incredible customer interest and engagement. We are looking to hire a Principal Product Manager to drive both our elastic infrastructure platform, our non-Windows client agents and network anti-malware capabilities. Microsoft SASE is centered on enabling access, protection, and best user experience for user(s) access to any resource (applications, servers, devices, SaaS, web etc.) regardless of whether it is in the cloud, the web or on-premises. If you enjoy working on v1 products, engaging customers to learn and building capabilities that delight customers this could be the role for you. You will be expected to work closely with engineers to solve complex problems, integrate with other Microsoft security products such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Threat Intelligence, Intune etc. and with Azure Core. In addition, you will be responsible for working closely with customer success to drive customer insights, validate our offerings and enable customer deployment.

Responsibilities

Partner with product leadership to refine the strategy for our elastic infrastructure, non-Windows clients and network anti-malware for Microsoft SASE.

Define product capabilities inspired by customers taking engineering and market constraints into account.

Design and build product capabilities with engineering, design, user research, documentation. Engage customers to validate and refine product offering and enable customer deployment.

Develop strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and drive alignment.

Work closely with product marketing and customer success to position offering and enable sales organization to help customers discover, try, buy and deploy.

Qualifications

Experience interacting with enterprise customers and identifying key customer problems to be solved.

Understanding of network and/or identity and/or security technologies and passion for infrastructure services.

Network security experience is a plus.

Strong, demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements.

Demonstrated leadership and strong cross-team skills.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
