Job Summary

  • As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Engineering efforts within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards, drive test automation initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QE team in planning, designing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality of software products.

  • Establish and maintain QE processes, standards, and best practices across the organization.

  • Drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testable acceptance criteria.

  • Mentor and coach QE team members, providing guidance on testing techniques, automation practices, and professional development.

  • Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of testing processes.

  • Track and report on quality metrics and KPIs to stakeholders, providing insights into the health of software projects.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Quality Engineering, and incorporate them into our practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a leadership or management role.

  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Experience in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript .

  • Experience in API testing using Postman and Rest-Assured

  • Strong performance script creation skills using Jmeter

  • Experience with SQL/PL-SQL , writing SQL queries, and stored procedures

  • Experience with source control tools such as GIT, TFS, SVN

  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) is preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards common goals.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Certifications in Quality Engineering or Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)
