Philips Senior Software Architect in Bangalore, India

As a Senior Software Architect, you’ll be involved in developing challenging SW modules in an Agile development environment, implementing complex tools. This considers the contribution to the ongoing development of the Monitoring & Automated Solutions for Vue PACS that is designed to serve various stages in the radiology workflow. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the Monitoring & Automated solutions hosted on the AWS. This involves architecting, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure to efficiently enable Product monitoring.

Your role:

  • Translating the vision and business strategy into an accepted architectures, within the full value chain context in partnership with the businesses

  • Initiating, leading and overseeing the realization of the architecture through tool, platform and product development across the business, with focus on re-use/leverage, modularization, and productivity

  • Partnering with customers to determine requirements and scenarios for a future tools/ application

  • Bringing a hands-on attitude and contributing to design and implementation with the teams

  • Keeping abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts

We aim to collaborate with our end user stakeholders for their feedback (i.e., service community), guiding input from Product Line Management for market trends and Voice of Customer, technology trends and best practices from R&D and Innovation and Strategy teams to be effective in a continuous enhancement loop and ultimate accountability and ownership within the Service Innovation function.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or another relevant area

  • 15+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years of system architecture experience

  • Good experience with software design concepts, practices, modern development methodologies such as Agile, Lean, CI/CD and common architectural patterns

  • Experience in full stack development with knowledge of technologies such as C#, DB(Oracle), Angular( Good to have)

  • Understanding of healthcare products and services, relevant standards such as DICOM, HL7, FHIR and understanding of security and privacy aspects for healthcare products is a strong plus

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, negotiate challenges, explain technical considerations and recommend solutions to all levels in the organization

  • Real passion and high energy from working with cross-functional, dynamic teams supporting products that improve lives
