Philips Software Technologist I/II - DevOps in Bangalore, India

Job title:

Software Technologist I/II - DevOps

Your role:

In order to create a positive customer experience, this role is responsible to automate and streamline the software development cycles. Ensures high quality releases by optimizing interfaces between development and operations, closely tied with the Agile and Lean methodologies, and supports the fully automated deployment ideology of microservices. All to ensure great digital solutions are developed for our customers.

Must have:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years’ experience in a technical software role (DevOps focused development)

Good experience with SCM tool like Git, GitHub, CI/CD GitHub Actions etc

Good experience with C/C++ embedded system, build and deploy

Good experience with programming or scripting language: Python , Bash, YAML

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Docker Compose, etc.

Have the technical skill to support team, review, report and present to stakeholders.

Coordination and communication within the team and DevOps Architects

Comfortable working in a DevOps culture

Good to have:

Experience with build, deploy, and release engineering in a Linux embedded environment and Linux

Experience with best-in-class application monitoring tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Netdata, etc)

Experience with best-in-class application logging tooling like ELK, etc

Experience creating, configuring, managing infrastructure as a code tools like Ansible, terraform, etc

Experience with embedded build system like Yocto/BSP/recipes/Eval Board etc

Comfortable working as a part of a Global team
