The Position

• Provide scientific guidance and robust medical direction to drive the business throughout the lifecycle of designated products

• Ensure that the right patients can take advantage of the full benefits of Boehringer Ingelheim products by collaborating with internal and external partners for the success of the company

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide medical information and scientific advice and expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

• Co-lead the medical strategy and develop the medical contents of the integrated medical brand/customer plan for assigned products and pipelines.

• Trains and educates other functions (e.g. marketing colleagues, sales force etc.)

• Develop and maintain medical expertise for relevant BI products to meet both internal and external customer needs.

• Supports the MSL by providing guidance, MSL KPI Trackling and coaching them on the principles of external expert engagement.

• Lead the local medical studies ie. IIS

• Where and when applicable, work on generating and disseminating local data scientifically relevant to BI products.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, PhD or MD

• If not a specialist in his/her TA, must have at least 4 years experience in TA Medical Affairs.
