San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Security Officer in Banning, California
The position of a Security Officer is expected to provide a reasonable safe and secure environment for all who enter San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital properties and to assure the physical security of buildings and grounds. It is expected that the Security Officer will demonstrate behavior consistent with the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospitals core values and mission statement.
High School Graduate. Completion of college level education courses in criminal justice preferred. Completion of workplace training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter.
Current State issued Security Officer License, if applicable, showing no disciplinary actions. Current Driver's license issued by the state of California wherein the position is posted with satisfactory DMV report of file. Current proof of drivers insurance, insurance must be kept current, at all times. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
4-5 years of Healthcare Security experience or 4-5 years of security experience in the hospitality industry, or prior military or law enforcement experience.
IAHSS- International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (Basic Training).
FEMA- IS-100-Intro to Incident Command certificate.
FEMA- IS- 200-ICS for single resources certificate.
FEMA- IS-700-National Incident Management System certificate.
