Shift 2 (United States of America) Position Summary: We are seeking a Facilities Electrician to join our team in Batavia, OH. As a Facilities Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within facilities. Work You'll Do: Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment. Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to identify any faults or issues. Repair or replace faulty electrical components. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations. Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Troubleshoot electrical problems. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks. Advise on potential upgrades or improvements to electrical systems. Perform general cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance tasks. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize breakdowns and repairs. Respond to emergency situations to repair electrical faults and restore power. Additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager or Facilities Maintenance Team Lead. Team: Overview of team this role will be a part of the Batavia, OH Facility Maintenance team reporting directly to the Facility Maintenance Manager. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training/certificate; apprenticeship preferred. 5 plus years of experience as an electrician or equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective written and verbal communication Strong technical skills including electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail. Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Electrical apprenticeship, vocational training, or an associate degree in electrical technology. Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), preferably asset essentials Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform responsibilities. Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations. NFPA70E training/certification.
