The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and understand weldment and fabrication drawings. You will use different types of weld machines and weld processes that include: MIG, TIG, plasma cutter, cutting torch on stainless steel, steel, and aluminum.
If you would like to make a real difference as part of a winning team, then we want to hear from you! This is a 1st shift position (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) located at our fabrication facility in Batavia, OH.
You will...
- Understand MIG/TIG processes & machine settings procedures
- Read and understand weldment and fabrication drawings; layout, assemble, tack, and weld to drawings
- Will cut, drill, and deburr material by using drawing instructions and blueprints
- Work safely and wear proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Ensure that all work meets or exceeds quality specifications
- Keep work area clean, maintain tools and equipment
* You'll have ...*
- Welding trade school certification or 1 year prior MIG and TIG welding experience
- The ability to pass a Company weld evaluation (MIG & TIG)
- The ability to read and understand blueprints
- The ability to use a tape measure and small powered hand tools
- Basic computer skills
