The Role at a Glance

Lincoln Financial is excited to bring on a Data Analytics Intern to join our Summer cohort.

What you'll be doing

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will focus on developing analytical work products to facilitate the success of Lincoln’s distribution organization (LFD). You will work closely with LFD’s business lines, marketing and IT teams to create novel solutions (e.g. models, processes and tools) that address the everchanging needs of a dynamic sales organization. The candidate must exhibit a firm grasp of the concepts and skills within the Data Science discipline as well as the technical tools used within LFD. 

What we’re looking for

• College rising- junior or senior

• Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of early June 2025 – early August 2025

• A minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred)

• Exceptional communication skills

• Self-motivated and results-oriented

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves: 

• Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.).

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

• Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
