Description SAP Database Administrator We are in search of a proficient Database Administrator to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role is pivotal to our operations as it entails managing and ensuring the optimal performance of our databases. The industry we operate in is constantly evolving, making this role a crucial part of our team. This role offers a 3-year contract employment opportunity. This role is Part Time & Fully Remote.

Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, and updates on SQL Server, SAP HANA, and DB2. • Implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data safety. • Utilize AB Testing and Cluster Analysis for data validation and optimization. • Manage and monitor software updates and patches for DBMS. • Maintain database security and integrity through managing user access control. • Perform data modeling to visualize database structure. • Utilize Flashcopy for data replication in DB2 systems. • Ensure the database performance and stability by applying optimization techniques. • Resolve database issues, bugs, and failures. • Collaborate with other teams to define data needs and provide solutions. Requirements Requirements • Proficiency in SQL Server • Experience in Optimization and AB Testing • Familiarity with Backup Technologies • Proficiency in Cluster Analysis and Configuration Management • Experience in Database Administration • Knowledge of SAP Data Services • Proficiency in DB2 and z/OS • Experience in SAP HANA and DBMS • Ability to work independently and in a team • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
