APTIM Senior Environmental Remediation Salesperson in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Senior Environmental Remediation Salesperson capable of immediately contributing to the growth and success of APTIM's Commercial Environmental Remediation and Construction Business. This business line is nationwide and serves businesses, state and local clients by self-performing environmental construction services including, but not limited to traditional environmental remediation, CCR closures, landfill gas construction and decommissioning and demolition services. This opening is for a self-starter that will identify and cultivate relationships with commercial industry clients, develop opportunities and convert them into contracts. The Salesperson is also responsible for negotiating strategic relationships with clients to position ourselves for success. Other duties as assigned.
Remote employee and/or at one of APTIM's 70+ office locations if necessary
Work with business line management team to establish new business goals, solidify existing client relationships, develop tier one clients, determine and prepare resources, and execute the capture of remedial construction projects.
Develop expert understanding of client needs and map those needs to APTIM's services.
Direct selling and influencing role that will lead to bidding and winning business.
Extensive travel to potential customer's sites to pursue business relationships, bid opportunities and participates in conferences.
Work with Strategic Planning and Marketing group to develop positioning documentation, brochures and marketing material, etc.
Learn APTIM's other offerings and cross sell to existing clients.
Responsible for input in Group and Divisional Business Plan and Forecasting.
Develop, present and execute winning client strategies for new and follow-on contract bids, provide input to the overall development of technical, management and business price plans, support the development and execution of calling plan.
Mentor and coach operational personnel as required, serve as a reviewer and conduct initial assessment for all pipeline opportunities, support the pre-sales activities, and support of all phases of proposal development and post-submission activities.
Must have direct sales experience in most of the following: Superfund/RCRA/CERCLA/SARA regulations and associated construction services; experience in environmental engineering; geosciences/geotechnical engineering; water treatment; waste management; contaminated sites, remediation techniques; dredging; site closure; coal combustion residuals; and restoration projects.
Must be familiar with the remediation, power utility, chemical, industrial and solid waste industries.
Must be familiar with commercial, state and local clientele with respect to environmental remediation services.
Must have familiarity and relationships with environmental engineering and CM firms that let out bids for their clients.
Must have existing client relationships that align with APTIM's core offerings.
Must have stellar reputation in the industry.
Must have 10+ years relevant experience.
