This position may be filled as an Adminstrative Assistant I or II.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II

  1. Work under close and/or directive supervision

  2. Plan and layout work details.

  3. Adhere to established departmental policies.

  4. Perform necessary computer clerical support for department to which assigned.

  5. Ability to operate standard office equipment.

  6. Communicate effectively and maintain professionalism during stressful conditions when dealing with internal and external customers.

  7. Assist with special projects including but not limited to sensitive and confidential data.

  8. Provide support for outage restorations during scheduled and non-scheduled hours as required.

  9. Learn company’s policies, procedures and responsibilities of department to which assigned.

  10. Create and maintain routine records, files, reports, maps, charts, etc.

  11. Learn routine clerical work of department to which assigned.

  12. EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  13. High school diploma or equivalent required.

  14. Have general knowledge of clerical work and is familiar with all phases of work performed in the group to which assigned.

  15. Have some knowledge of utility operations practices and regulations.

  16. Good analytical skills.

  17. Proficient in use of company computer programs and terminal applications.

  18. Ability to work under stressful conditions.

  19. Knowledge of company organizational operations to which assigned.

  20. Good verbal and written communication skills.

  21. Qualify for vehicle operator’s license.

  22. PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  23. Must be willing and able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  25. Be energetic and alert.
