Robert Half Staff Accountant in Beavercreek, Ohio

Description

Robert Half is looking to fill a Staff Accountant contract position for a client near Beavercreek45431, Ohio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with general accounting, and budgetary controls.

  • Responsible for monthly journal entries to record, as determined by assigned accounts.

  • Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts monthly; resolve any reconciling items on a timely basis.

  • Follow outlined timely month-end close process with organized and comprehensive checklist.

  • Calculate and monitor costs for inventory valuation and job costing purposes.

  • Assist with annual financial budget and forecasts.

  • Analyze financial data to support various projects and initiatives.

  • Assist in annual external financial statement audit process.

    Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting experience

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred

  • GAAP experience and knowledge

  • Multiple ERP system experience preferred

  • Payroll experience is a plus

  • Manufacturing, construction, or project accounting experience is nice to have, but not required.
