Technical Professional Leader; Cyber Security Engineer

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Engineer to support an Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Aircraft Acquisition program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Candidate will provide high level subject matter expertise regarding cybersecurity engineering support for AFLCMC programs. Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on complex cybersecurity problems. The candidate will apply principles, methods, and cybersecurity knowledge and will design and prepare technical reports, studies, and related documentation.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Deliver high level risk management framework (RMF)/Cybersecurity (CS) expertise for USAF and AFLCMC aircraft acquisition

  • Develop decision briefings for the Certification Authority with a focus on technical assessments of program developed artifacts, test results, and the output of the risk management program for each system being assessed

  • Provides analysis of Cyber Security Engineering artifacts and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) expertise required to support the execution of all steps necessary for obtaining Interim Authorities to Test and Authorities to Operate

  • Utilize Information Assurance and technical risk management principles through executing USAF Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization (A&A)

  • Utilize Information Assurance and technical risk management principles through executing AF PIT A&A process

  • Establish CS requirements in alignment with DoD Information Assurance (IA) workforce Improvement Program

  • Designs and prepares technical reports, studies, and related documentation; creates charts and graphs to record results; prepares and delivers presentations, training, and briefings

  • Apply SSE principles to program protection and Anti-Tamper (AT) analysis to identify requirements, vulnerabilities, and verification methods

  • Analyzes systems to identify Critical Program Information (CPI) using the DoD Horizontal Protection Guide and Acquisition Security Database. They work together to develop CS Strategies, incorporating CSE principles and CSAs to create a risk management roadmap supporting CS planning and implementation

  • Provide Cybersecurity leadership, guidance and training to the program workforce

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; at least 12 years of experience; CISSP

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree;

Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
