Job Description

A large multinational company that specializes in identity technologies is looking to hire a tenured Typescript / Java Software Engineer. This company is trusted by governments and enterprises around the globe to authenticate identities for seamless connectivity, identity payments, public safety and travel. They use technologies like biometrics, cryptography, and analytics enhance and protect sensitive information. This candidate must have incredible communication as they will be in a professional services / client facing engineering position directly understanding what needs to be built out. The team is supporting customer customizations, configurations, and deployments of the Issuance 360 Back Office product within Driver License and ID Programs. The work involved is mainly development of business workflows using JBPM in XML, API endpoints and routes using Apache Camel XML DSL, and data transformations using XSLTs. Knowledge of Java and SQL databases is needed for debugging through the existing Back Office product as well as for the occasional binary development. This position requires AWS / cloud knowledge as majority of deliverable products are cloud based. This candidate must be comfortable creating/updating technical engineering documentation

$65/hr to $85/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 6 + years Java Backend Software Engineering

• Ability to teach / mentor Typescript lambda functions to junior members

• AWS (as IaaS and/or SaaS), AWS SDK, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB

• Strong communication / presenting skills (both internal and external)

• Agile development methodologies

• Knowledge or experience with popular software ALM tools (Jira, BitBucket, SourceTree, TeamCity, Artifactory or equivalents)

• PostgreSQL and SQL Server * Wildfly server

• Apache Camel

• JBPM using KIE Workbench

• X.509 certificates, JWTs, OAuth and associated security measures null
