Robert Half is looking for a Help Desk Analyst to support local and field users in a rapidly expanding company in the Manufacturing industry. You will thrive at solving problems in a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment as a Help Desk Analyst. Because this Help Desk Analyst role is very visible within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is in the Bedford Park, Illinois area and is a short-term contract / part-time opportunity.

Major responsibilities

• Resolve technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

• Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

• Spot recurring technical issues and deploy solutions to address the root of the problems

• Contribute IT support for productivity software, operating systems, and a variety of other applications used internally

  Requirements

• Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

• Deep understanding of Ticketing System

• Demonstrated knowledge of Password Reset

• Customer service experience

• Basic Network Troubleshooting experience highly desired

• Active Directory experience

• Computer Imaging experience preferred

• General familiarity with Printer Hardware

• Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
