Job Title: Medical Assistant/AT - Sports

Job Description

Seeking a Medical Assistants for a specialty clinic. Candidates will be responsible for working with the podiatrist and sports physician. Responsibilities include floating between Bedford and Alliance offices, assisting patients and visitors by answering or referring inquiries, assisting the physician with medical tasks such as vital signs, calling in medication, taking medical history, ensuring exam rooms are prepped, and coordinating treatment with other facilities or physicians.

Hard Skills

• 1+ years experience as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or as an Athletic Trainer

• MA Certification preferred but not required with extensive ortho experience

• Ortho/sports medicine experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bedford, Texas.

Work Environment

M-TH - 7:30AM - 5:30PM, Friday 7:30AM - 12. Float between Bedford (2425 Highway 121, Bedford, TX) and Alliance (North Riverside Dr., Suite 108, Fort Worth, TX) offices. Mileage reimbursement provided if floating to a different clinic mid-shift.
