Description

The Partner Support and Solution team strives to make Amazon the best place for Selling, Vendors and Brands owners to reach customers, driven by the experience and support we provide them in growing their businesses locally and globally. Within this group the Language Experience, Localization and Insights (LELI) team plays a key role in supporting these customers by driving the development of high-quality, user-centered localized content. We set the tone for the global business by creating great content across 30+ languages.

This team is currently looking for an experienced Program Manager. The successful PM will be obsessed with localization quality improvement and localized content excellency, experienced and highly committed to create and manage walk-the-store inspection, able to develop and drive a high-level strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.

The PM will be responsible for understanding how all the various parts of Amazon Selling Partner ecosystem work, developing inspection approaches that fit the overall strategy, overseeing the execution of inspection plans, and monitoring the progress of inspection and bug fixing. S/he must be able to manage across numerous business or operation models and create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp on the operational, financial, business, and technical aspects of the content development and localization required for each new and existing application.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, technical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines at scale. S/he will have a proven track record in using data to guide decisions, being able to prioritize, and acting upon the information received.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

  • Excellent in English communication skills, including both writing and speaking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP

  • Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • Experience of managing operations are preferred, including but not limited to supply chain, warehouse management, transportation management or call center management etc.
