Team/Role Overview

The Human Resources (HR) Accommodations Team Lead is a senior level position responsible the review and execution of Workplace Accommodations in coordination with ELU, Vendors, and various HR disciplines.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for delivery and proper assessment of HR Accommodations and LOA Requests in collaboration with relevant internal and external partners.

  • Proactively manages case volume to ensure timely completion.

  • Partner with business managers, legal partners, benefits, or external vendors to resolve issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed.

  • Partner with Human Resource Advisors (HRAs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs) on HR priorities in respective client populations to ensure delivery and implementation of HR solutions.

  • Serves as point of contact for escalated matters and ensures necessary due diligence in partnership with key stakeholders.

  • Works with all key stakeholders including, HRA, manager, employee, Employee Relations (ER), Legal, as well as build and maintain partnerships to foster trust and accountability.

  • Facilitate training and create resources to promote awareness of Leaves and Accommodations Pillar across the firm.

  • Conducts regular reviews of processes in conjunction with Senior Leadership.

  • Resolves complex HR issues conferring with key stakeholders as appropriate.

  • Assist progressively larger or more complex employee populations and participate on cross-Citi projects.

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred
