Centre County Government AC/Electronics, HVAC/Refrigeration Technician (at CCCF) in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania
- Maintains and makes repairs on county-owned HVAC equipment.
- Replaces compressors, switches, thermostats, and charges systems with proper Freon as necessary.
- Checks boiler, gauges, and other equipment for proper operation, and makes minor adjustments if necessary.
- Maintains county-owned electronic and telephone, fire alarm and generator systems.
- Installs and wires various electronic panels, installs conduits, troubleshoots phone and fire alarm systems.
- Installs support equipment for computer and phone systems including connector boards and panels.
- Installs electrical switches and relays, repairs pumps and motors.
- Performs major repairs and installation of plumbing systems.
- Works with various loop systems including heat pumps, circulator pumps, and cooling towers.
- Installs ancillary equipment as needed.
- Operates power equipment as needed.
Paints required fixtures, buildings, and other objects as needed.
