Amazon Senior Program Manager, FBA Inventory Optimization in Bellevue, Washington

Do you strive in working on new and innovative ideas and programs? If you do, then the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Inventory Optimization team is looking for you.

The FBA Inventory Optimization team plays a critical role in helping Sellers optimize their inventory in the Amazon Fulfillment network (AFN). Within the broader team, our group specializes in building solutions that enable FBA Sellers to improve the sell-through and value of excess inventory and we specialize in providing consumers with the largest selection of trust-worthy high discount products throughout their shopping journey on Amazon.

The Program Manager will develop and own programs that have a direct impact on both the FBA Sellers’ and Customers’ experience. In this role you will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including Science to design and enhance Machine Learning (ML) models to improve the data that we surface to Sellers and the products we surface to Customers; Marketing to develop campaigns to drive higher sell-through of excess inventory, along with Business, Development, and Product teams on programs and roadmaps to manage the end to end delivery of both existing solutions such as “Outlet Deals” or our newly launched "Efficacy" product which provides Sellers with predicted benefits of adopting Amazon recommendations.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-oriented Senior Program Manager that will collaborate across teams to improve upon existing processes and help build and enhance the FBA inventory planning toolset.

Key job responsibilities

Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations

Working with Science team to build ML models

Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and deliver on-time

Own program communication; accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, removing barriers, escalating as appropriate

Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
