Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Welder, specializing in the fabrication of stainless steel tanks for the dairy industry. This role primarily involves TIG welding on stainless steel, ensuring all welds meet food-grade or sanitary standards. You will be responsible for various welding tasks, including TIG and MIG welding in different positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead. Your daily tasks will also include clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, custom fabricating, and grinding materials to meet technical requirements and produce a high-quality final product. You will control fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent issues like overheating, distortion, or expansion of parts. Additionally, you'll be expected to read and understand basic prints/drawings and effectively solve fabrication challenges.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

This position offers a 1st shift schedule from 6 AM to 2:30 PM during training, transitioning to 5 AM to 3:30 PM post-training. The 2nd shift runs from 3 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. Optional overtime is available on Fridays and weekends. The company promotes a supportive work environment with a structured attendance/PTO policy, including paid holidays, vacation days, and personal days. Looking forward, the team will be moving to a new 40-acre facility in two years, providing an exciting growth environment.
