Skills and experience that will lead to success

We are seeking a skilled API Developer with expertise in Microsoft technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that support our applications and services. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of .NET technologies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities-

  • 6+ Experience in design, develop, and deploy APIs using .NET Core/.NET Framework and other Microsoft technologies, Azure(APIM), SQL Server, and Entity Framework.

  • Ensure that APIs are robust, scalable, and secure, following best practices for design and implementation.

  • Develop and maintain RESTful services and integrate with various third-party systems and applications.

  • Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of APIs within the broader system architecture.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation (Swagger/Open API Specs/Postman), including endpoint descriptions, usage guidelines, and versioning details.

  • Ensure that documentation is updated with any changes and versioned properly for API Specs.

  • Optimize APIs for performance and scalability, ensuring they can handle high traffic and large data volumes.

  • Implement caching strategies, database indexing, and other techniques to enhance API performance.

  • Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and validation of API inputs.

  • Ensure that APIs comply with relevant data protection regulations and security standards.

  • Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
