The Strategy and Technology Group (STG) is a new initiative within Aon to deliver innovative consulting and technology solutions to its clients. This is a great opportunity to join a growing group and to work with a highly skilled, collaborative team of actuarial and software experts who are using the latest technology to deliver next generation products for insurance markets.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
As a development lead, you will responsible for directing the development team in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including design, development, coding, testing, and debugging, to deliver high-quality solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing a REST API for posting and getting data, as well as running models
You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the tech stack for the Tyche Capital Model (TCM).
Designing solutions using our tools based on clients' requirements
Evolving the cloud infrastructure behind the TCM through interactions with the Platform team
Collaborating with other teams with regard to requirements and best practice for using their software components
Improving build, testing and deployment processes
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Extensive experience in development with technologies such as SQL, C#, .NET or Python, web services and applications and Azure.
Passionate about technology and producing well-designed, well-tested solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and clients of widely varying technical knowledge
