The Strategy and Technology Group (STG) is a new initiative within Aon to deliver innovative consulting and technology solutions to its clients. This is a great opportunity to join a growing group and to work with a highly skilled, collaborative team of actuarial and software experts who are using the latest technology to deliver next generation products for insurance markets.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

As a development lead, you will responsible for directing the development team in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including design, development, coding, testing, and debugging, to deliver high-quality solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing a REST API for posting and getting data, as well as running models

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the tech stack for the Tyche Capital Model (TCM).

  • Designing solutions using our tools based on clients' requirements

  • Evolving the cloud infrastructure behind the TCM through interactions with the Platform team

  • Collaborating with other teams with regard to requirements and best practice for using their software components

  • Improving build, testing and deployment processes

    SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Extensive experience in development with technologies such as SQL, C#, .NET or Python, web services and applications and Azure.

  • Passionate about technology and producing well-designed, well-tested solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and clients of widely varying technical knowledge
