Job Description

Team – DB Cloud Ops Platform

We are building a distributed, scalable AI-Ops platform service for DBaaS infrastructure (software workflows, hardware systems & components) management across the Oracle cloud regions in the world. We are working towards growing it into a multi-tenant SaaS service for Oracle internal and external customers. We have a team of highly capable engineers in Santa Clara, CA and Bengaluru, India. We are expanding the team to implement the strong development roadmap ahead. We are a service development team that owns the service end-end (Design, Development, Test-automation, and DevOps or equivalent experience) and follows latest software development practices (Agile, CI/CD).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Masters degree, in Computer Science

  • Strong proficiency in React / Angular, JavaScript, CSS

  • Having Java along with frameworks drop-wizard/spring is an added advantage

  • Design, develop, and operationalise highly available and scalable cloud software systems

  • Master cloud and multi-tenancy concepts, distributed systems, database, and cloud service development

  • Become experienced in creating micro-services and REST APIs

  • Monitoring of Cloud systems

  • Experience in distributed cache management such as Redis

  • Familiarity with code versioning tools Git, Bitbucket

  • Experience on Cloud technologies such as AWS/Oracle Cloud/Azure/Google Cloud/VMWare

  • Experience solving complex software and/or networking issues

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and then train others

  • Great verbal and written communication skills

  • Design , develop critical road map features

  • Operates and performs maintenance for services running within the region

  • Deploys code and implements other changes within the region

  • Solves problems operational issues on behalf of service teams

  • Ensures timely resolution and documentation of incidents through bridges

  • Monitors the region for faults, alarms, and other errors. Informs internal teams as required through process and

  • procedure
