Oracle QA Manager-ProdDev in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

In this role, you will lead a team of QA engineers, taking ownership of our current QA deliverables and testing activities to support our product releases, whilst assisting and leading the transformation to a shift left approach to quality.

You will work across multiple teams and disciplines including our full stack delivery teams, DevOps, security, and performance to deliver world-class testing strategies, practices and innovation that help us reduce time to market and increase application stability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a QA Manager, you will

  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of QA engineers and be accountable for test deliverables within the team.

  • Initiate, suggest and contribute to best practices and improvements in quality and testing.

  • Build upon and lead quality initiatives that reduce cycle time and increase quality.

  • Champion and implement shift left strategies and identify opportunities to test early and often.

  • Be an advocate for building quality from the start (not just testing it).

  • Actively look at ways to streamline and accelerate testing through the use of test automation and re-use.

  • Serve as a technical authority in both functional and non-functional testing.

Make use of feedback loops such as logs, dashboards, build stats etc to observe quality and take actions to improve outcomes
